The narrow Way has two boundaries; so, I believe a word on fear is in order here. It is all too easy to generalize our choices and state that fear is always based on death. That simply is not true.
Although you will have to click the link to see this video, it is a very good example of two dancers, each with their own unique personal style of Praise dancing, ministering together to convey His message.
May it encourage you to praise dance with others, even when you have different styles or levels of skill. He loves making unity out of diversity.

Solomon describes the beauty of his bride in the Song of Songs. Twice he compares her to an awesome army with banners. That speaks volumes about the value of the army for both the king and his bride.
I’ve read so many people who are wanting to add praise dancing to their wedding or renewal ceremony. This was the first video I have seen of it. What a great addition to such a joyous occassion!
May we make this our personal praise to the Lover of our souls.
Yes, it is the holiday season, it is so easy to let other things take priority, to forget to stop and praise Him. As families gather, we can be reminded of their shortcomings, as well as our own. May you focus on Him, on His power to heal and make you into the blessing for your family and those near you, to make you all that He created you to be.
He does not give us a gift to be a burden that we do not know how to use. When we ask, He sends His Spirit to teach us how to praise dance that it might be a joy for us as we minister to Him.
Sometimes words just aren’t enough, we just need to see it, to hear it in our spirits.

As we become His alone, as we learn to listen and intercede as He intercedes, we shares more of His Heart with us, more of what is happening in our world, including the plans of our enemies in warfare. There are biblical accounts of this as well as documentation of at least one prayer group in England that would frequently be given strategic information about German positions and plans. That is some serious listening and sharing!
When I first was around praise dancers who knew Him well, I was concerned about that. What did they know about me? Could I trust them with the information He gave them? Now, those questions seem so silly. He is wise and faithful, and not a tale bearer or a slanderer, and will not share with those who are. He knows who is trustworthy and faithful better than we ever could.
I am His child, He knows me and calmed my fears. One of the women whom I had respected ‘out of the blue’ shared that He typically shared insights with her about the people she was around, yet He had not shared one single thing about me. Others would have been mortified and wondered why He didn’t care about them enough to have this prayer warrior know how to pray for them. For me, at that time, it was a treasure to know that He is faithful, true, and can keep secrets!
Not every intercessor gets details. Sometimes we are only given an urgency to pray, with no idea what it is all about. Sometimes He shares the victory with us later, other times, we may never know. We are each given the gifts that have been selected especially for us. As we grow in listening, praying, and sharing His heart for His Bride, He shares more with us, and we become more confident in our ability to recognize His voice, to listen and to obey. Sometimes, what He calls us to do in private, will later become a more public ministry.
Not every prayer is on our knees, some are movement, like stomping, or raising our hands as Aaron did during the battle of the Amalekites. Praise dancing is often prayer put into physical movement. To me, in this video, it is especially evident. Prayer is at the very heart of it. No ministry works without a foundation of prayer, but especially not such a visible ministry as this. It cannot be done without the praise dancers first feeling His heart for His bride, bearing some of her burdens, interceding for her and asking Him to prepare her heart, especially the hearts of those He will call to pray under the billows, to receive what He intends for them,
Prayer continues as the praise dancers ask Him to guide them to the ones whom He has choosen to bless in this public calling to be under the shadow of the Almighty One of Israel. What an moving expression of His individual love for us, expressed in a such a graceful dance of praise!
